In a workshop offered by Diane Berke this week, she shared this quite about humilty by Exra Taft Benson: "Pride is concerned with who is right. Humility is concerned with what is right."
Wow! This quote hit home and I've been sitting with it since then. How often have I focused on my being right, when the real important question is really what is right? How different would our current world situation be if the focus as not on "who" but, raither on "what"? I can't change anyone else, but I can challenge my point of view. That's a start. And small changes can ripple into bigger effects.
