I was brushing my teeth this morning and chuckling as I squezzed that very last bit of toothpaste from the tube. My father was a master at getting every bit out. From there, I remembered how masterful he also was with a turkey carcass. After one Thanksgiving meal at home, he set to work while watching TV, takng every bit of meat off every bone. My sister, Diane, was coming the next day to visit and I asked if i could leave it at her place at the table as her "dinner" for the night. My father loved this idea. Not sure Diane was amused, but it became a cherished family story nonetheless.
What family stories do you cherish? I decded thisone was worth writing down for posterity. It made me smile all over again. I miss you, Daddy (AKA Avo).
